Tv programmes and their audiences

Image
I wasn't surprised that entertainment and dramas were the most watched genres of tv however I did think that more people would watch sport.   The most watched programmes on E4 was the Big Bang theory and Hollyoaks- both of which I watch. The TV programmes for the previous year, 2015, was almost the same, however in 2016 there were a larger number of viewers.  What I found most interesting was that since 2007-2016 live viewing has gradually decreased while catchup was increasing. Surprisingly, on average, people watched more TV in 2005 than in 2015

Our film Ident

Lauren and I have finally finished our film ident! Although it took a long time we think it represents our film genre quite well. Here is our film ident!

Logo practice

Lauren and I created a logo on powerpoint and animated it today on imovie, sadly the imovie titles templates didn't allow us to get the effect we wanted. So we will have to try and create another one.

Location planning

Image
Over the weekend Lauren and I had a trip to London where we went to our preferable location, Covent Garden, to look at the location and see if it worked. Surprisingly the section we wanted to film at wasn't as busy as we expected, however still had a good atmosphere. We especially want to film during the week leading to christmas, although its guaranteed to be busy, it will give a more visually attractive and festive atmosphere. During the day we passed the location a number of times and all of which it was not as busy as we had expected.

Risk assessment

To ensure that while filming everything is safe, Lauren and I have created a risk assessment so we are aware of all the problems that may come up and how to fix them.
